This new website for 2026 is published by me, Peter Limbrick. I am passionate about improving early support for babies and pre-school children who have significant challenges to the development, learning and quality of life.
My experience in this field over several decades includes having had a young brother with cerebral palsy, being a teacher and senior manager in schools for children with very special needs and establishing a voluntary organisation, One HUndred Hours, to support familes of babies born with brain damage. I directed that organisation and supported very many families as their multiagency keyworker.
One Hundred Hours developed and validated a model for effective joined-up child and family support with an individual team around each child and a multiagency keyworker coordinating the process.
I have worked in many countries to spread the word that babies and infants deserve effective support, that parents and other family members have a right to help when they ask for it and that practitioners need improved systems to work in with support and training.
I live in Herefordshire in the UK on the border between England and Wales.
I am happy to hear from anyone in any country who shares my passion. Please get in touch.
