A Whole-Child Approach

Radical change to traditional early support in countries of high economies means moving from treating babies and pre-school children in separate parts with different practitioners for each impairment or challenge. This outdated medical approach to a young child's development and learning adds stress and strain to children, parents and practitioners. It is a nonsense.

This page has four sections:

Seeing each child as a whole child

The emergence of new understanding and skills

Integrating separate approaches
